Onboarding Sequences are a series of emails that will be automatically sent to your clients during the program.
Some examples for how you can use onboarding sequences include welcoming your clients, making sure they know how to make the most out of your program, giving them encouragement and motivation throughout the program, and even upselling your other programs and services.
You can create onboarding templates, then reuse them by attaching a sequence to a group.

If you prefer to read, follow the written instructions below:
Step 1. Click the "My Groups" tab.
Step 2. Click the downward pointing arrow next to "Pages" and select "Onboarding."
Step 3. Click the "Add new sequence" button.
Step 4. From the dropdown menu, choose the "EXAMPLE" sequence. This is a pre-written series of emails that you can easily edit.
Step 5. Click the toggle switch to set the sequence to "Active."
Step 6. Update the sequence title as needed. Note that this title is for your reference only and will not be visible to your clients.
Step 7. Click the calendar icon to select the start date. This date will determine when your first email is sent.
Step 8. Prepare the first email.
Enter the number of days after enrollment (the days after a client joins the group in Coaching Genie) and the time you want the email to be sent.
In the "Email title" field, enter the subject line for the email.
PLEASE NOTE: Putting a "0" in the "Days after enrollment" box will send the email to your clients as soon as they join the group, regardless of the time you select.
Step 9. In the "Email Text" box, write the message you want to send to your clients.
Note that the merge link for the client's first name is already inserted, so it will automatically personalize the email with each recipient's first name.
Step 10. Scroll down and repeat steps 8 and 9 for each remaining email.
Click the "Delete" button located just below the specific email you wish to remove.
Step 11. To include additional emails in your onboarding sequence, click the "Add New Email" button located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 12. Once you've finished editing the emails, click the "Save Sequence" button.
If you’d like to use this sequence for other groups in the future, check the box labeled "Save Sequence as Template."
That’s it! Your clients will receive the emails in your onboarding sequence according to the schedule you have set.
Note: If a new client joins the group after the start date of the first email, they will still receive the first email.
