What are categories inside modules?

You can user Categories to organize your modules by topic, purpose, or another parameter.
Categories essentially serve as “folders” on your computer, so that you can quickly and easily find any module.
Simply indicate which category you want the module to be assigned to or create a new category:
Then you can easily show all the modules in that category by using the category filter in the top right corner of My Modules page.
You can easily edit or delete any category using the same filer menu. This action does not delete or any modules, it simply removes or updates the category in the module.
Categories can be used in place of or in conjunction with module tags.
