To change the order of the modules for your course, follow these simple steps:
Step 1. Click on the My Courses tab.
Step 2. Then click on the title of the course.
Step 3. Locate the module you wish to reposition on the "Chosen modules" box, and click on its title. This will highlight the module and prepare it for reordering.
After selecting the desired module, you have two options to adjust its position - the up or down arrow.
- Up Arrow: Click the up arrow to move the module higher in the list, towards the top. This means it will be released earlier or shown before other modules.
- Down Arrow: Click the down arrow to move the module lower in the list, towards the bottom. This will delay its release, showing it after other modules.
If you wish to further adjust the module's position, you can continue clicking the up or down arrow until it reaches the desired spot.
Step 4. Once you have moved the module to the desired position, don't forget to click the "Save" button to apply the changes.
Follow the same steps for the other modules you want to move.
Step 5. To double check the updated order of your modules, click on the My Groups tab, then click the down arrow next to Pages for your group.
Step 6. Click on Module Release.
Step 7. You will see that the module or modules you just repositioned are now updated on the module release page, and their dates have been updated.
