Client journals are independent from modules. Since modules can be re-used in different courses and groups, you should not link to journals inside modules. This can create confusion for your clients as you reuse that module in different groups or courses.

But if you really need to insert the link to the Journal Page inside a module, we recommend that you only use this module in ONE course or ONE group.

Here's how you can insert the Journal link inside a module:

Step 1. Make sure you join the group as a client by clicking the "Copy Link" button.

Step 2. Go ahead and create your "Client" account if you don't already have one.

Step 3. Click the Journal icon.

Step 4. Copy the link on your browser. This is the direct link to your group's Journal Page.

Step 5. Insert the link inside your module.

Recommended Option:

You can also insert the link to the Journals page using the handy Merge Links option in several areas:

  • Replays
  • Welcome Page
  • Events
  • Discussion

Here's a step-by-step instruction for inserting the link on the replays:

Step 1. Click the Replays icon.

Step 2. Then click the Create New Replay button.

Step 3. Click on Merge Links on the right side of the Replay Content box.

Then click on the Journal Page link.

*This is how the inserted link will look like.

Note: To insert the Journal Page link on the other pages, watch the quick video below. It will follow the same step for inserting the merge link for the Journal Page.
