You can archive your groups to better organize your groups and clean up your dashboard, as well as to manage access to your groups.

Here's what you need to know about archiving a group:

  • Members of an archived group will continue having access to all the materials in that group: modules, journals, weekly check-ins, etc. However, they will not be able to add any new entries since the group becomes "frozen" (read-only access).

  • If you add any new modules to the course assigned to an archived group, members will not see these new modules. So if you choose to update your course with additional modules for your future clients or groups, your archived group members will only see previous modules.

  • New members will not be able to join an archived group.

  • Members of an archived group do not count toward your maximum client total.

Here are the steps to archive a group:

Step 1. From the "My Groups" tab, select the group you want to archive.

Step 2. Locate the "Actions" menu and click on the dropdown arrow. From the dropdown menu, select the "Archive" option.

You will then receive a notification in the top-right corner of the screen confirming that the group has been successfully archived.

Unarchiving a Group

If you choose to reverse this action and UNarchive the group, follow these steps:

Step 1. Navigate to the "Archived" tab located in the top-right corner of the dashboard by clicking on it.

Step 2. Choose the group you wish to unarchive by clicking the checkbox next to it.

Step 3. Locate the "Actions" menu and click on the dropdown arrow. From the dropdown menu, select the "Unarchive" option.

IMPORTANT: If you have added any new modules to the course assigned to this group, you'll need to open your course under My Courses and save this course one more time before the members of the unarchived group will receive these new modules.
